Diamond Recovery

The Foundation for Solution

Individuals

At Diamond Recovery, we are invested in the long-term recovery of every person we treat. This means substance use disorder treatment at our programs goes deep beneath the surface. For example, identifying co-occurring mental health disorders, like depression or anxiety is the core component of our dual diagnosis treatment approach. The team of experienced professionals at our programs also specialize in helping clients identify and address potential triggers for substance abuse.

We believe diagnosing any co-occurring disorders along with helping people understand their triggers and counter them is essential for resilient recovery to take root. At Diamond Recovery we also understand that every person who comes to us seeking help has a unique set of conditions and experiences. This is why treatment at our facilities is highly individualized. The therapeutic modalities that are most effective vary from person to person, so we do not practice one-size-fits-all addiction treatment here. Each individual receives a personalized treatment plan that’s designed to meet their unique needs and address their concerns.

Families

One of the most difficult conversations a family can have is one in which they suspect a loved one is struggling with addiction or substance use disorder. Substance abuse can wreak havoc on families and relationships. Codependency and difficulty setting boundaries often further complicate the effort to help the family member who is struggling with addiction. At Diamond Recovery, our view is that the family is an integral part of the recovery process.

Because the family is emotionally invested and can be damaged by addiction, it follows that it should be involved in the healing process whenever possible. When family members are involved, they gain a greater understanding of addiction that helps them make sense out of chaotic behavior. It puts the family in a better position to support and understand the patient. More than that, the members of the family are also empowered to begin their own healing process, which benefits everyone involved.

The team of dedicated professionals at Diamond Recovery work in the field of addiction medicine and mental health care because they are compassionate about making a difference. Many of us have had family members who battled addiction or have faced it ourselves. This is much more than a career for us. It is a calling.
